This morning, I reached the top end
of the so-called normal / healthy
weight range, a BMI of 24.9 with my
weight = 155.2 pounds, my height =
66.25 inches, my waist = 30.5 inches,
my WHR (waist/height ratio) = 0.460 !
Started December 11 with weight of
181 pounds, BMI 29.0, the highest
weight I've been at my entire life.
I blamed it on going full-time seden-
tary at early retirement. I reacted
with starting a 30 minute indoor cyc-
ling exercise routine that's gone up
to reaching 90 minutes in 3 30 minute
segments on January 23.
I started my weight reduction diet
on December 11 after just exercising
did not work for about a week.
My waist, I didn't measure 'til Jan-
uary 4 (waist of 33.5 inches) and I
measured it in response to a poster
asserting I had insulin resistance
despite my low daily insulin dosages.
WHR (waist/height ratio) on January 4
was .506, so at my current .460, it's
come down .046 since January 4. My
waist has decreased by 3 inches since
January 4.
I will continue my exercise routine
and my reduced calorie diet 'til I
at least get down to a waist size
of 29 or 28 inches, at which point
I may switch from a calorie reduced
diet to a calorie maintenance diet.
We'll see. My current weight, of
course, that's my first-thing-in-
the-morning weight, so since one
gets heavier during the day, I ...
... still need to lose a few more
pounds so I'm in that so-called nor-
mal / healthy weight range all day
long.
Haven't measured my blood pressure
and pulse rate in awhile, so I'll
do so now.
My blood pressure is 114 over 69.
My puslse rate is 79 beats per
minute.
My insulin/diet/calories since my
last report as of February 16:
Feb 17 1,245 calories

7 NPH, 15.5 Regular, 22.5 Total Units
