Disabled Terminology and Slang

Hi again everyone!

Well, it's time again for our Wednesday weekly online meeting on
#Disabled.

Different people use different words to refer to the disabled, such
as handicapped, physically challenged, etc. And some of us use
terms that others may be offended by or feel are derogatory. Some
of us use one of each, such as a politically correct term when
referring to others and a slang term when referring to him/herself.

This what this week's meeting topic is all about. "Disabled
Terminology and Slang". Tell us what you like and tell us what you
hate. Put your thoughts together and join us! Even if you could
care less, come join us just to meet and make new friends.

As usual, this meeting will take place Wednesday (May 21) at 6 PM
pacific time (9 eastern) on #Disabled (NewNet IRC). If you have
