So many questions, SOHO answers…
QUESTION: Hey, I'd like to work for YOU! Does SOHO hire home-workers
and if
so, how do I apply?
ANSWER: It would be a bit of a conundrum if we snubbed telecommuters,
wouldn't it? Therefore, we have a 100% home-working policy. You either
work
from home, or you work for someone else, that's our motto. When job
openings come available, we send out special notices to our
subscribers.
Although we do not have positions available at this time, we do have
plans
to add three agents to our staff this year. SOHO Agents help us sell
and
market this newsletter and are paid on a commission basis. We will
also be
looking for Home Business Mentors to provide our visitors with content
and
advice regarding home business opportunities. These jobs will be made
available to our subscribers and we expect to start recruiting
shortly. In
the coming months we will also be adding Charter Leaders to our
SOHOMoms.com division. We'll keep you posted!

Bogus Non-Profit Agencies That Offer Work At Home
The Set Up: You hear about a great work at home job with a non-profit
agency or other small business. They are hiring data entry people and
require an "application fee" because, since they are not-for-profit,
they
must keep their overhead low. You pay the fee, but never get a job.
How
could this be?
Unfortunately, this scam is all too common on the web. The truth is,
most
of these work at home non-profits do not exist. They are merely a
front for
a home based data entry scam. Some claim to be a charity, or a
Christian
ministry, but if they ask you to pay a fee in order to be hired, you
can
bet that the "non-profit" agency is really a "for-profit" scam.

Dear Scram Scams: "I answered a data entry ad for a company called
Easy
Pathway. They say they are a non-profit agency for the victims of
domestic
violence. I had to pay $50.00 to take a skill assessment test. Since
then,
I've never heard from the company or been offered a job. The website
is
http://www.easypathway.com I am really distressed over the fact that
these people say they are there to help people."

Hello P.T. You're right. It is distressing! Yet, these types of
tricks
are all too common. You see, one of the best ways to get the job
seeker to
believe a fee-based company is legitimate is to disguise themselves as
a
non-profit or religious agency that is working for the good of the
community. If you trust the business, you'll be more likely to fork
over
the dough. It just goes to prove that work-at-home scammers will stop
at
nothing to make a buck.

Watch Out! Here are the scams making the rounds this week:
7 Dwarfs Virus Is Back (Again!)
If you get anything from HAH...@sexyfun.net with the subject "Snow
White
and the Seven Dwarfs - The REAL story!" do not open the joke.exe.
midgets.scr, sexyvirgin1.csr or sexyvirgin.csr attachment! It is known
as
the 7 Dwarfs virus and will wreck havoc on your computer system.
Also, Watch Out For These Work At Home Scammers:
WeBizRUs.com: They say they hire data entry specialists to work from
home.
If you fall for this scam you'll be asked to fill out a questionnaire
to
see if you qualify. Of course, everyone qualifies, so you'll be asked
to
open a PayPal account and transfer $50 to them. Plus you'll need to
send
them $9.95 for the "special" software that is required to do the job.
However, since there are no data entry jobs, you'll never hear from
the
company again.
