I have a 16x CD-ROM and an 8x4 changer. Is there a cable that will
connect the CD audio out on both of these to one soundcard (AWE 32).
If so, where can I get one?

-thanks,

mark

Have not seen a y-cable for CD-ROM's (generally, in electronics these
y-cables are a bad idea, although you can usually get away with them).

But I just got an Ensoniq PCI sound card that has three internal audio
connectors. Works super! Cost $80 or so...

this is what mine is, look at the upper right corner of the pic, you
will see Aux1, CD IN, and Aux2

You should be able to find yours at

if not, just fabricate a cable to go into the external "line in" jack.
