Someone should warn you that StudioVision does NOT work properly with the
PowerMac. It doesn't sync the MIDI and digital audio correctly. I've
heard that the Deck/Metro combo works properly, though, even though Metro
isn't the best sequencer out there.

I can get these for $405 (opcode) and $320 (deck) new.
thanx in advance.

Not entirely true. Studio Vision does not work with PowerMacs WHEN USING
SOUND MANAGER. If you are using any digidesign hardware with DAE, it
works just fine. Again, ONLY using internal Sound Manager audio is a
problem with Studio Vision and PowerMacs.

What about the Studiovision AV that is supposed to work on PMacs ?

deck or studio av...

As I said in my earlier post, I've heard the Deck/Metro combo works on the
PowerMac with no additional hardware. I saw an ad from Digidesign for
something called "Session" which claims to do the same thing as DECK but I
don't know if it syncs with a sequencer. I think Digi is sending out free
demos. I'm going to call them, but I think that it's probably a little
too little a little too late to catch up with Deck.
