I think muscle on women is very unsexy. Given a hard toned body is
something to dream of. A woman that beat me up/has a deeper voice than
me is scary.

Gabe,
Why not keep this kind of crap to yourself or E mail. Many women work
very hard to become bodybuilders and probably don't give a rat's ass

I think the best putdown (of guys who don't like muscle on a woman) I've
ever heard was attributed to a female bodybuilder (sorry don't have the
exact person and talk show) when a guy from the peanut gallery stood up
to proclaim: "I think all your muscles make you look like a man and
unfeminine". To which she replied: "Do you think your lack of muscle
makes you look like a woman?"

Someone gave me a tape of that show. i believe it was either Jerry
Springer or Montel Williams, but the quote is very accurate, and it was
spoken by Tina Lockwood. i think she won the Jan Tana.

My apologies. I got news and notes confused and mailed my replies to
these two articles. Sorry ladies.

Not all bodybuilders do 'roids. Bodybuilding will not in itself give
women deep voices, or male pattern baldness, or anything else other than
fit and *sexy* bods.

Lockwood won her heavyweight class and the overall of the 1994 Jan Tana

Case Closed.

OK! What is your "perception of fat"? so we're talking using the same
terminology.

What was Tina's percentage of lean on contest day? i don't have that in

I don't think that I need to mellow out. I just am stating an obvious!
This girl is fat on contest day, needless to say if she was not in
"contest" shape she must have been quite heavy. Possibly your
perception of "fat" is different form mine. I used to train IFBB pro
Jackie Paisley. At her fattest she was 10x leaner than this Tina girl
is on contest day.

I used to think like that 'sexist pig', but since becoming a
bodybuilder, and seeing what the ladies can do, I've become quite a
believer in women's bodybuilding.

Since I hang around the gym so much working out, I've become most
comfortable around my 'HARDBODY' friends, and now find that I am
attracted to hardbody women. I respect their hard work, and can't
think of anything more exciting than two hardbodies being together.

So continue your success ladies! We love you!

Its not what you say, but how you say it. So many of your posts are just
offensive. Perhaps you think of this as just locker room talk. But we
are not in the locker room. The people who read your posts include men
and women of all ages, young boys and girls, straights and gays. You
should be able to discuss issues, even controversial issues, or issues
regarding public or semi-public figures, without this type of name
calling, mud slinging, or questioning their moral character.

Rob seem to missing a very salient point: Tina Lockwood is a damn fine
bodybuilder. She has tremendous potential. So she wasn't ripped for the
Tana. So what? If a female can win a show without getting overly lean,
so be it. Lenda Murray does it year after year. Rob and I both know that
women becoming overly lean just ruins the face. It has happened to Diana
Dennis and Jackie Paisley. He happens to like the ripped look. I have no
problem with it with some women. But I'm not married to any particular
"look". Many times I've advised my competitors: Yeah, you could get
leaner, but you wouldn't be any better. Should Tina Lockwood. You
betcha. Lots of unworthy men made it. Why bitch about one girl? And she
would make things quite interesting at the pro level.

That's the nice thing about doing bodybuilding, being smart and successful,
being confident, etc. It weeds out those jerks who think that men have to be
dominant and attracts those men who are above that kind of stuff!

I went to that show, and while Tina was as big as a house, she barely even won
her class (according to one judge I talked to). The second place heavyweight
actually outweighed her by one pound, but was about 2" taller, more ripped, &
IMHO, more aesthetic. She looked pretty bloated, and probably was the least cut
female in the show. Having said that, she probably has as much potential as
anyone I have ever seen, but to compete with the likes of Murray & Creavelle,
she will have to refine her physique quite a bit.

You are correct..though I maynot have chosen those words to say it. But
FYI, the Jan Tana also has an amateur competition, and that is what Tina
won last year...the jan tana amateur.

I bob, i think most people who arent involved inthe sport, dont see the
definition of "fat" as we do. Offseason my weight is 215 pounds, and I
never go over 9 percent.
I also agree that Tina was fat even at the jan tana amateur, but she
certainly has the potential there if she ever diets right.

You mean I could get a pro card just by giving some guy head?
Hmm, I guess I'll hafta take that into consideration. Never really
gave it much thought before.

Note, he didn't specifically say it was the term "blow job," although
more likely than not that's what he was referring to. Your post made
you look like an idiot. It would have made you look like an idiot even
if you had used the term "felatio" [sic]. It was insulting to Ms.
Lockwood and probably libelous. "Decorum" means more than just being

Words come across differently when written than when said. We don't hear
the tone of your voice, your facial expression, or your body language.

Someone new to email often come across as crass and/or insulting. It
takes practice to get your ideas across exactly as you mean them without
offending a large number of your readers.

You and I have discussed this in private email. You dismissed it as me
being too sensitive. Now you see many others are offended by the way you
write, too.

Tina Loclwood is NOT a professional bb. she is still an amateur. The
