What's the difference between Rolfing and Hellerwork? Based on my
priliminary research, Rolfing starts with a series of 10 sessions of
bodywork, followed by the optional movement series. Whereas, Hellerwork
integrates both the bodywork and the movement education into each of the 11
sessions.

I was going to go with Hellerwork because I think the movement series which
re-educates your posture should not be optional. However, I got a little
concerned about Hellerwork after reading this post...

Anybody with experience with both Rolfing and Hellerwork, please share your
experience with me.

Also, how do you incorporate strength training durring the course of your
rolfing/hellerwork treatment. I hate not to do any kind of strength
training for 3mths!

TIA

They are essentially the same. Joseph Heller, founder of Hellerwork, was a
student of Ida Rolf. Heller added an 11th session supposedly to work with
the emotional component.
