I would like to know the difference between the HealthRider and the
Cardio Glide exercise machines. The appear to be similar in their
design and function.

I have the cardioglide which we are enjoying. The cardioglide has a
resistance knob whereas the Healthrider requires you to raise the front
which still doesn't do very much. The Cardioglide is also a lot
cheaper, I asked the company about pricing and they said healthrider is
a one machine company whereas Weslo distributes lots of machines and can
there give a mass production price.

Nope. I studied all these "riders" before buying the HealthRider. Cardioglide
uses a pneumatic or hydraulic (not sure which) piston for resistance. The
thing will leak sooner or later (believe me, it's a Natural Law, it WILL leak)

However, the most significant
diference is the range of motion. Watch the HR on the infomercials, and notice
the deep range of motion. The knees bend to less than 90 degress at the
"bottom" or starting position. The swiveling handlebar makes it easy on the
hands in addition to providing for a variety of grips.

The HR has been the perfect complement to mi stat. bike. In a typical workout
at home I ride the bike for 30 min or more, then ride the HR for another
20-30 mins and finish off with some push ups and half sit ups. It's a killer
cardiovascular and toning workout!!!

Finally, remember that "you get what you pay for"...

Probably the most significant difference is cost (the CardioGlide is
around $300 cheaper) and that the CardioGlide has adjustable resistance
via a hydraulic cylinder.
