Has anyone out there in net-land had any experience with these products?
Are they all that she says they are?
Why are they so incredibly expensive?
Why can't you get similar products in health stores?
Why wouldn't a balanced diet do the same for you?
I really was sceptical of her pitch, probably because I was taken in by
someone a few years ago selling something else with the same approach.
Thanks in advance for your comments.

Well Mauren, I happened to attend one of these presentations. (Actually,
calling this sleazy individuals pitch a presentation is putting it
nicely.)
The person making the presentation had little scientific evidence to offer,
other than they were sure that it had miraculous powers. They stopped
short of claiming that the product could grow hair on cabbage. (Actually,
one of my friends asked if it could.)
Why the expensive cost? (You asked) Well, the aproach they have chosen to
market their product is a multi-level one. For those not well versed in
Multi-Level Marketing (MLM), those who get in on the product initially,
make big dollars off of the work of those who get in on the end. It
really takes advantage of those who actually sell the product, and those
who buy the product at such exuberant (Spelling ??) prices. Most of the
people involved in the MLM pyramid, stop selling the product to the end
users. Given that they can make oddles of dollars by recruiting more
people underneath them, they cahnge their focus to build a small empire
underneath them. So, you the end user pay a rediculous price to support
all of the fat cats who sit above the distributor (from whom you
purchased the product).
I realize that you asked for input because you were interested in the products
potential as far as your fitness is concerned. Unfortunately, with such
a shabby method of distribution, and the sleazeballs I met at the presentation,
I never gave the product a second chance. Who knows, it may very well do all
that their glossy brouchures proport. I however will not have anything to
do with salespeople whose only motive is to get rich and recruit underlyings
for their empire.

This would have been a good answer if you would have stopped here. No, you
had to open your mouth about something that you obviously have no knowledge
of OR the presenter wanted to SUCKER you into something.

This is an issue but let me digress. MLM is coming to everbody whether you
like it or not. Stanford Research did an anlysis for Wall Street Journal
and predicted the 65% of ALL products in the US would be moved by newtwork
marketing in the 90's. Now almost 20% are moved this way. A scam, you say ?
For the most part no. There are some bad companies out there that are
pyramid schemes. [let me digress and state that pyramids are ILLEGAL and
invlove NO product]. What it sounds like is that Km (I was approached as
well) is trying to become an AMWAY (wholesale buying club) and the only way
to make money with them is to sell tons of the stuff or recruit tons of
people to sell tons of the stuff.

Sure, some people are sleazballs but you get that in any business. If you
really want to find out about network marketing call the Direct Seller's
Association and find out the credibility of anybody's company that comes
knocking at your door. Also call the Better Business Bureau and find out if
there are any unresolved issues with them. This will tell you the true
'sleaze' factor of such companies. But don't discount this method of
marketing because it IS here to stay. 70% of Japan's products are moved in
such a way.
Now, let's move on to Misc.fitness .........

My friend has the stuff, and he really likes it.
I have taken it, and I am indifferent.
It is just a potassium (K) supplement.
Sorry I can't tell you anything more about the product.
