I travel often for a living. I recently belonged to Golds Gym which
had many locations in each state, however I was limited to 15 visits
to any gym out of my local area (sometimes I could be in a city for
over a month).
I recently switched to 24hour fitness as they have no such limits.
However 24hour fitness is concentrated on the west coast without many
locations in other states.
Often local gyms I call want over $70 for a month or $15 a day which
is steep.
Do any of you have any strategies for finding cheap places to work out
on the road?
Unfortunately, I have no control over the hotels I stay at and most
don't have weight rooms.
Thanks

Add a shoe-box to Your luggage and put a TRX in it, maybe a jump-rope too

The YMCA might be a little more flexible with out-of-town member visits,
and they are all over the place, but quality of facilities can vary
significantly. Outside of that, the best You can do is try to find a gym
that allows one month memberships.
