What is 185? Or is my brain mapping ciento to 5 when it really should be 00?

Five is "cinco" - "ciento" means hundred. As I am not fluent in
Spanish, I would probably have said "ocho, cer, cero," but I see on
the interwebs that this is more likely to mean 8 o'clock.

"T" versus "K" sound

I don't know Spanish, but I generalize "ciento" down to the "cent"
that I do know. You're thinking of Cinqo (spelling?)
