For example, we are currently raising investment capital for a new
theatrical play written by Tony Award winner, Rupert Holmes, based on the
life of George Burns called "Say Goodnight Gracie". The total amount being
raised to mount the show is $ 600,000.00 in a standard limited partnership
arrangement. On this web site, we would list this opportunity where
potential investors could find out about the show and order a prospectus, if
interested. However, in addition to the advertisement for venture capital,
the site would also advertise the opportunity to promote or co-promote the
production during its theatrical run. As a promoter, the entrepreneur could
be involved in the national tour, or on a smaller scale, with just the
promotion of the play in his/her hometown.
My question is this. How do I best find my target audience? The profile is
for people that would like to get involved with entertainment projects. The
person could be experienced or inexperienced. We intend to provide
opportunities for the experienced entertainment investor as a full fledged
producer and promoter, as well as, the new-comer that might simply want to
take an educational seminar on how to become a concert promoter.
Any advice that anyone could give me would be greatly appreciated. You can
