Educators do not have the skill to judge writing

When I was in high school in Singapore, I was averaging a C in literature. When I attended college in Singapore, I got an A in literature and won an award in creative writing. How do you explain this discrepancy?

Art and writing is subjective and educators do not have the skill to judge the work of writers is my conclusion.
