Medical Certification for Polish M.D.

I have a friend who recently came to the U.S. She is an M.D. who
received her training in Poland. She would like to become board
certified. Does anyone know of some text books which would help her
to prepare for the National Board exam? Perhaps there is someone who
received their medical training in one of the European countries, and
has gone through the certification process to become licensed to
practice in the U.S.
