Buying new house in Tampa, FL. . . have St. Augistine Sod. Not sure
what the best type of lawn mower is .. . any suggestions?

Hi,
I used a Toro rotary mower with excellent results on St. Augustine for many
years in Texas. Because the St. Augustine is very tuff and coarse, the mower
has to be well powered. My Toro self propelled walk behind (can't remember the
model, but its the one with the bigger engine) works well and has lots of nice
options if one wants side discharge or something. I actually prefer using the
mulching now because who want to bag up all that grass? Cheers
