Tri-Level House Addition: Where to Find Ideas?

We have a 3-bedroom tri-level. It has a master bath and a hall bath.
Separate utility room, open "great room" and an unfinished basement. We're
almost out of space. I'd like to start planning renovations and an addition.
Any ideas on where to look, books, magazines, web sites, etc? I've toyed
with the idea of letting some college architecture students look at it and
give me ideas. I figure that would be an inexpensive way to get feedback and
enrich their education as well. There's lots of book/magazines out there for
renovations on ranchers, colonials, etc. But I don't know that there's much
for tri-levels. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
