I am getting ready to paint the (wood siding) exterior of my house. I'm
looking for recommendations for the best paint to use. I want something
that is going to hold up well, even if it's more expensive.

I had heard that Benjamin Moore is an excellent paint, if somewhat
expensive. But I've also had several painters tell me that they use Kelly
Moore, and that is just as good -- and cheaper -- than Benjamin Moore.

Does anyone have a preference of these two paints ? Or are there other
brands I should be looking at ? Again, my priorities are: durability,
looks, and cost, in that order.

Thanks in advance,
John

Benjamin Moore has my vote.

I don't think there is any connection between the companies.
I've used Kelly Moore a coule times in the Seattle area, and it's not
a whole lot better than Ace or Dutch Boy, in my never-so humble opinion.
