My husband and I will be moving into our new home in about 3 weeks. We have
decided we would like to have grass in the backyard, but are unsure as to the
best type in Arizona. Also, neither one of us has done any landscape work,
but we are planning to do this ourselves since we cannot afford to hire a
professional. We looked at Home Depot and they have a bermuda grass by
Scotts. Has anybody had any experience with the best type of lawn in Arizona
or other extremely dry climates? We would appreciate any input about the
type of grass and installation advice. Thanks in advance.

I live in Arizona and installed Midiron sod last summer. It is definitely a
sun loving grass. We have it in front where there is no shade and it is nice
and thick, pretty low maintenance. In the back, we have some trees, and the
grass is having alot of trouble getting thick. I got my sod from Guaranteed
Sod. It was the least expensive then for price and rolling it out. Hope this
helps.
