Hi all,

I'm looking for consumer comments on Insulate brand windows manufactured
in Auburn Washington. They claim to be "a leader in the vinyl window
industry since introducing the first vinyl window for new home
construction on the West Coast in 1985".

They are a Certainteed company - yet I've not been able to find any
specific references to this window brand in the DejaNews archives, etc.
Any comments regarding experiences with this window would be greatly
appreciated.!

Wonder if you know what Profile they use to manufacture the windows?

Could the name be "Insulsash"? If so, go to
http://www.insulsash.com

If this is the outfit you're looking for, query it in Deja News as I posted
to this ng a while back about them - my experience is that they have a good
window, an astronomical price and ex-used car salesmen for a sales staff.

Good luck.

Michael... hope you aren't still working on your project and that you got your answer before mine which is coming 16 1/2 years later. I think the Insulate windows are so so at best... I had mine installed 11 years ago... the air seals have held up but the ballast have broken in 2 of the 6 windows I had installed.

You aren't likely to get a reply to a 21 year old post. Nice try though...
