Is it true that Canada has a higher mortality rate for certain
conditions when compared to the U.S.? If so, why?

Nope, in fact its the reverse. And that is due to the rather dramatically
different demographics. The US has a significant higher percentage of
the absolute dregs of society, basically due to slaverycenturys ago.
