Chances are good, if you have access to a good-size library, that there
are videos you can borrow there as well.
The best things about books is that you can read 'em in bed, looking at
all those gorgeous rooms. I know they sparked a lot of ideas for me.
I also remember going to our city's annual "Parade of Homes" where they
have about 12 or more brand new homes, all decorated. A trip through
those can be a good way to see some decorative painting techniques.
I did a lot of this stuff when we added a second floor onto our little
house nine years ago. I had a blast doing it and still get compliments
all the time. My very favorite wall is one that I used hand-cut erasers
to stamp out an over-all free design, so it looks like wallpaper at first
glance.
I better stop. I can talk about this decorative painting for a long time. <G>
Have fun, and tell us what you end up doing!

Hi, I just found this website: http://www.frugal-moms.com/ . It has
information on frugal decorating, cooking, lifestyle, etc., along with
message boards. It might be helpful. I liked it, anyway! *G*
