They were all lined up in a row like ducks, bulging and beckoning with thin-sliced Pastrami. But some of them with expiration Date 2023-01-16 were marked down 86% to only $0.99 and so your scam-scout feasted on a few Pastrami with Swiss on Rye and devised a scheme, a scam, a postprandial predation. He inspected the full-price $7.49 sandwiches and saw their looming expiration date of 2023-01-19 three days from now. Eureka! Just wait until the expiration date and buy ultra-cheap sandwiches again.
