It's real, but it is only called the BlackBerry Thunder if you buy
from Vodafone or Rogers. If you buy from Verizon, it is called the
BlackBerry 9530 Storm.

The real question is whether it will make any inroads into the
iPhone market. There are a bunch of little gadgets that imitate
the iPod, but none of them have realy hurt ipod sales. Will the
same be true here?

In my opinion, that's the wrong question. What features does the
iPod have that the other audio players don't? The iPod doesn't
dominate the small audio player market by having more features,
so why couldn't the same be true in the case of the iPhone?
This war will be won by whoever has the best overall client-
server system (all the other parts of the system that the phone
communicates with) as it was with the iPod and iTunes.
