HELP BURMA, BOYCOTT PEPSI!

Why should you boycott Pepsi-Co? Because they are supporting the
Burmese dictatorship, aka SLORC (State Law and Order Restoration
Council). SLORC are the crew that are holding Nobel Peace prize winner
Aung San Suu Kyi, under house arrest, after she won the Burmese
election by a landslide, in 1990.

The International Commission of Jurists declared the SLORC government
illegal, since it only won 2% of the seats in the 1990 elections.

COKE cancelled its Burmese ventures. Levi-Strauss and Co. withdrew
since "it is not possible to do business in Myanmar [Burma], without
directly supporting the military government and its pervasive
violations of human rights".

Pepsi and 7-Up are bottled in Burma by a partner firm with close ties
to SLORC, which controls all major business, crushes all opposition,
and jails and tortures Members of Parliament.

The All-Burma Student's Democratic Front says BOYCOTT. "The urgent
need of the Burmese people is not Pepsi-Cola, but the restoration of
democracy, human rights, and peace."
