Bismillah,

Today I was able to attend the funeral service for Flint Gregory Hunt, the
Brother who was recently murdered by the govt via lethal injection. His
services were held at Masjiid-Ul-Huqq here in Baltimore, for he was Muslim.
There were approximately (my guess) 150-200 people in attendance and no
apparent media, the same media which in the local paper, referred only to
Bro Hunt as "killer", did not show up to see the love and support he has and
the family he left behind. The following is from the program:

Obituary

On Tuesday, July 2, 1997, Flint Gregory Hunt, the son of Dorothy Arrington
and the late Flint D. Hunt expired. He was born in Newton, North Carolina
on June 27, 1959.

Flint was educated in the public schools of Baltimore City, where he
received his G.E.D. He also attended the Community College of Baltimore,
Maryland.

Gregory loved his family very much and he will always be remembered for the
lectures he gave every one.

He leaves to mourn: one son, Gregory Hunt, Jr.; his mother, Dorothy
Hunt-Arrington; four sisters, Doris Hunt, Frances Hunt, Kimberly Hunt and
Tonia Hunt; maternal grandmother, Susie Sherrill; aunts, uncles, many
nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

(several poems follows including one apparently written by Bro. Hunt)

When I Must Leave You

When I must leave you all for a little while.
Please say good-bye with a little smile.
You must not grieve for me or shed any tears.
For there I'll be throughout all the years.
Just reach out your hand and when you are in fear.
And I in turn will always be near.
You will never be alone not even for a while.
If you look to the stars you can even see me smile.
So you see, I'll never leave you all not even when I die.
For I will always wait for you up here in the sky.

Lovingly,
Gregory
