Now it seems that we have "Government by Coincidence"

Many a wise man has said that "once is a coincidence, maybe even twice
is a coincidence; but when things happen continually by coincidence,
then it isn't coincidence at all; but rather by plan."
Today's Washington Post article by Dan Balz (a Washington Post Staff
Writer) titled "Clinton Defends Satellite Waiver President Says
Donations Were Not a Factor in Export to China" has the administration
stumbling around mumbling meaningless and patently false denials of what
apparently happened.

We, the American People, have been constantly told, by the Post and
others of the administration's tame media outlets, that they, the
administration, didn't know about the fund raising policies of the DNC
during the '96 elections; when in fact the fund raising functions of the
Clinton Campaign and the DNC were being run by the White House itself.
The fund raising functions were so important and so all encompassing
that the President himself was scribbling memos and notes on staff memos
about how to increase the take.
So they didn't know the source of the funds? One of the important
questions that now has to be asked and answered should be, "Why didn't
they know the source?" After all there were allegedly safeguards in the
fund raising functions of both major parties to prevent this kind of
abuse by foreign governments. So "Who disarmed and dismantled to fund
verification mechanism in the Clinton Election Campaign and the DNC?"
"What did they gain by so doing it?"
At worst this was an act of Treason, in selling out the government and
people of the United States of America; at best it proves that there are
a bunch of totally incompetent fools and thieves governing our country
from 1600 Pennsylvania Ave. more interested in their own power than
serving the people they work for.
But back to the coincidence factor of this latest incredible
circumstance. At the G-8 summit meeting President Clinton was reported
by Mr. Balz's article as having said, "Speaking to reporters at the
conclusion of the Group of Eight summit here, Clinton dismissed
suggestions of any connection between the administration's decision on
the satellite technology and campaign contributions. "All the foreign
policy decisions we made were based on what we believed -- I and the
rest of my administration -- were in the best interests of the American
people," he said."
Right? Somehow we are supposed to believe that it was just some
incredible coincidences that a) a fellow who was real friendly with the
PRC managed to get himself "duked" into the DNC's and campaign's fund
raising group and then b) tied up with a friendly PRC female LT. Col.,
who also happens to be the daughter of the PRC's top military Commander
(at the time) and then c) managed to get her cleared for a visit to the
White House itself without setting off any internal security alarms and
d) that on the very day that one of these visits by the PRC's top
Space/Military representative traveling incognito to meet with the
Secretary of Commerce and the President himself that e) The President of
the United States, made a foreign policy decision that was "based on
what we believed -- ... -- were in the best interests of the American
people," and that resulted in the President himself authorizing the
transfer to the PRC's military industrial complex of sensitive
technology, that will enable it to accurately target and successfully
launch their ICBMs at the people of the United States of America! And
at the same time the CEO of one of the companies that stood to make
millions of dollars of profit in the transfer is identified as the TOP
individual contributor to the President's and the DNC fund raising
campaign!?!?!
Wow, that is an incredible number of coincidences!
But we are to be satisfied with these mundane denials and simpering
replies of, "But investigators have no evidence that Chung ever directly
attempted to influence policy or that anyone at the White House or the
Democratic National Committee knew the source of the $366,000 Chung
raised for the party at the time it was contributed. All of the money
was returned after the DNC determined it could not vouch for the money's
origins."
And of course there was the obligatory reply of the President stating,
""Now, if someone tried to influence them [the 1996 campaigns], that's a
different issue and there ought to be an investigation into whether that
happened. And I would support that. I have always supported that."
Right again!
Just like he said that he wanted to release all the information about
Whitewater and ordered his administration to cooperate with the
Independent Council's Office investigating it; and like he stated that
he wanted to release all information regarding the 900 FBI files on
Republicans and how they found their way to the White House's newly
appointed "Bar Bouncer's" office (Yeah, the same guy nobody remembers
hiring); and how he was outraged at the possible persecution of Billy
Dale and the others in the White House travel office; and ... heck it
just keeps on going and going and going. He'll publicly "Welcome" the
investigation; but orders and organizes his staff to stall, obstruct,
destroy, mislead and do whatever it takes to delay a free and open
investigation into the circumstances and hide any facts surrounding the
reckless and arrogant abuses of power.
So if we believe our President, then we now must have government by
incredible "coincidence."
