Subject: To wear or not wear

Hi,

There are some 38 IDs in this mailing list. Dont know how many of you remember the old clothing/tailor store near the stage across the field. This was during the days when the assembly was the horse stable with the tin roof !!

We were proud of the dove and the uniform and we still are.

I suggest that we all wear a light khadi half sleeve jacket with the logo of our school and the phrase `Batch of '89' embroidered in it. This jacket will not be a fashion statement, we may not wear it for our sister's wedding. But it will help strongly identify us a batch on the 26th, give us a reason to show off and of course, remain a memory for all of us once the day passes us by.

As things stand today, it is not possible to fund this item from whatever we have collected and will collect. It is also quite a challenge to get everyone's size etc. And, I am sure, there are many more reasons and challenges.

Give it a thought dear friends.It will cost each one of us approximately Rs.1500 to get a good jacket sewn and embroidered with the name of MIS.

If you think its worthwhile, say YES to this message the moment you see it. If you don't, well, there's always the old tailor shop to fill memories with.
