Thanks for sharing the list and seeking inputs, I would be happy to be a part of the planning and share responsibility for organizing the event. I am not sure if you want us to put our names against one of the sub activities. Maybe we can give names at the proposed meeting once we have better idea on each task.

 

I wish to share few of my thoughts for consideration by the group.

  

1) I would like to suggest adding "mobilising participation of our batch mates for 26 Jan" I would say that is equally important. Collection of contribution may be fine, but those who have contributed, can we make them feel that we also value their presence  :)   

 

2)) Have we done some rough budgeting to be sure that all these activities would get covered? Catering is the largest chunk and the other large piece is the Gifts (to teachers) which is again a non- negotiable. While I personally do not endorse printing of magazines, I would like to suggest that this be marked as 'subject to availability of funds". I was not sure if this is a Mother's blossoms actvity and get funded by it. If supported from other sources, then no issues.

 

3) I wish to suggest focusing only on the main event and exclude side events (such as Neemrana getaway). Those discussions may not be of relevance to the entire group.

Hi everyone

 

With only 3 months left to the Alumni meet we need to gear up to plan and finalise all activities to be taken up.

 

Please see list of activities to be done for the Jan&apos;14 alumni meet

 

Everyone is requested to see which activities they can take full or part responsibility of.

Also suggest any activity you think we may have left out.

Please give references and contacts to get good deals for the items marked red.

Your feedback is expected by the weekend i.e. 13 Oct&apos;13 , after which we shall meet to finalise things

 

Tentatively meeting is planned for 16 or 19 Oct. 10 am at school.

 

Everyone in Delhi NCR is requested to attend the meeting. All others will be updated reg. the action plan on mis89 email group.
