In keeping with the thought that this group is only for MCUG announcements, I have posted a new document in the Mirth Connect Forums and the link is attached.  Feel free to comment on the forum and will make edits, as needed.

Hi Loyd,

Thank you for that. I can't reach it though. Registration is required
in the forum apparently to download it.

I prefer not to do PDFs but HTML. Is there any possibility of doing that?

I would suggest not running your Mirth Connect service as the root user.
You should never run any service as root or with any user that can become root.
Also, beware of open-jdk. I think this is fine for the newest version of MC, but for older versions of MC (3.5.x and older), they may rely on specific functionality in Oracle's Java 8.
