Hi All,
Hope you're all well in these testing times.
I'm new to this package. It seems to be an awesome package to generate quick assessments. I'm trying to generate an assessment and stuck with an issue. Though the time given per question inside DF is working perfectly, but I was wondering if it's possible to show the timer along with each question. Also the maximum time of GUI is showing with a span of 5 minutes for example: "time remaining:less than 5 minutes". Again can it be used as a real time timer?

Thanks,
Manish

Hi Manish,

The mirtCAT package currently doesn't support this feature, though it is a reasonable one, and I agree showing the real-time timer is probably a nicer presentation component. I'll add it to the TODO list for the next major update. Feel free to watch the Github dev version to see when this feature gets added. Cheers.

Phil

I've added support for a real-time timer instead. Now the formatting prints hours and mins if greater than 1 hour remaining, minutes if less than 1 hour but greater than 10 mins, and minutes + seconds if < 10 mins left.

Wow, that was quick..
Thanks Phil, I will download the developer version from GitHub. This would really help in enhancing the assesments.

Regards,
Manish

I'm usually quick at adding features like these, though these days it's largely a function of how long my toddler son naps for..... Let me know if it's working sufficiently in your tests. Cheers.

Hi Phil and everybody!
Does the new mirtCAT version (1.10) support a per-item timer? If so, how do I turn it on? To be clear, I would like to display the remaining time for each individual question/item and not for the test as a whole.

Sincerely,
Magnus Nordmo
