information about mirone

dear sir / madam,

i have join this group recently. i am using mirone software for tsunami propogation modelling. i am having some queries related with this software. can any body give me reply please.

1. with what equation mirone calculates propogation in deeper zones (bigger bathymetry) and in shallow depth (smaller bathymetry).

2. with which equation it finds initial jump (manshinha code) in elestic deformation.

Mirone uses the well known (it's a "classic") SWAN code by Madder

Well, like everybody else, it uses the also very known Okada
equations.

Those things are metinoed in the manual.

Hello Patel,

I am in the same situation as you, help me if you found a solution please,
I wish to make a modelling of a tsunami in the coastal zone of a city in Morocco (within the framework of my project of thesis). I installed the Mirone software and I realized a grid of bathymetry .Grid but I do not manage to find the approach to make the modelling of the tsunami. Could you, please, guide me on this approach and which are the parameters which I shall need?
