Can Mirone run under Linux Octave?

Can Mirone run under Linux Octave? Thanks!

Hi Bruce,

 

There were old attempts to do that but Octave’s GUI system was very poor. Don’t know how much it improved by now. But the answer is, right now it can’t. All the MEXs would need to be compiled in Octave, which is not an easy task, specially given the non-friendliness of Octave towards Windows.
