Hi everyone,

Could you please provide me information how to compute the coseismic ground deformation, tilt and strain (like Fig. 6) using the Okada's model?

This Fig. is from the reference: Fukuyama E. Dynamic faulting on a conjugate fault system detected by near-fault tilt measurements. Earth, Planets and Space, 2015, 67(1): 1-10.

Thanks in advance.

Xiaolin,

Within the "Okada" window you can compute the X,Y, & Z individual components of the deformation, one at a time. See the Sn, Se, Sz edit boxes and their tooltips. With these I guess you should be able to compute what you want.

Good luck

Joaquim Luis

Hello
I wish to make a modelling of a tsunami (within the framework of my project of thesis). I installed the Mirone software and I realized a grid of bathymetry .Grid but I do not manage to find the approach to make the modelling of the tsunami. Can you explain me how I can realize the same work of your figure (Fig. 6) for my zone of study?
Thank you in advance.
