Hello everyone.
At this point in time, all of you are probably not too sure about what you should be doing. Thus, I will be giving out tasks for you to accomplish.
Programmers:
1. Learn to do motor tuning with the new drivers, and write down the procedure for it for your reference.
2. Learn how to program with the main board, how to use the switches, LED,sensors and motors.
3. Note down the connections between the driver, board, sensors etc.
Fabricators:
1. I have the new motors with me. You guys will need to incorporate this into the design. Also you need to couple external encoders with the motors.
2. Design wise, I guess we have to wait for meeting with the technician before we can proceed.
Since we are working on a tight schedule, I set the deadline as Sunday night (26/01) for these tasks. Then we will have a meeting that night, and I expect results.
I know that all of you may find this daunting, not having any experience. But use the time to the fullest, attend the classes from the morning, ask people around you for guidance. As members of my team I expect all of you to show some initiative and be independant.
Once again, I expect results during the Sunday meet.
