miriad "school14"

The new release "school14" of MIRIAD is being used this week at the 2014
Carma Summer School.

We also have a live feed on a youtube channel, contact me if you want a
reference.
Classes start very shortly, as this is their first day.

PS: for Mac 10.9 users you will need to cvs update the
$MIRSUBS/jplread.c routine
and rebuild smauvspec in order to get this program.

what file? and what should run?    i really need some context here

I downloaded the miriad_linux64_u14_gfortran.tar from the wiki page and am trying to follow the instructions under "miriad binary release"
