Hi all,

I have some ATCA data and I would like to do all the reduction&analysis in Miriad. I first need to read the data in Miriad using ATLOD. However when I try that it says 'command not found'. But help file is there. I have been using Miriad without any problem, except this task. Do I need to use ATNF version of Miriad for that?

Any idea?

Many thanks in advance!

ATLOD is a command that is ATCA specific, and it's posssible that the
CARMA version is lagging in some
features and may break for you. So the best bet is always then to use
the ATCA version of miriad. If
you see a $MIR/VERSION file, check if it looks like a date (20130117),
which means ATCA version,
if it's 4.3.1, it's the CARMA version.

You can also try (for the CARMA version)

mirboss
mir.prog atlod

and see what the build errors are, if any. I noted in my latest build
for school13 atlod didn't get built,
but the mir.prog command built it just fine. rehash, and you're good to
go.,

hey,

I have CARMA version, 4.3.4.

I used 'mirboss' and it worked just like you suggested! ATLOD is now working well.

Thanks a lot! You are great!
