All Host/Visiting Teams playing on Edison grounds please read attached ground rules and requesting the teams to follow these rules while playing/practicing on Edison Grounds. It is quite likely that Edison Residents living around the grounds have complained about following offenses to the township. Teams may lose permits if these rules are not followed strictly.

Please read CLNJ Code of Conduct - which covers violation of ground rules and visiting or host teams will get penalized for these violations. These are quite common sense rules which can be applied to all grounds and not just Edison Township Grounds.

Following offenses have been notified to the township:

- driving on the fields 

- changing clothes out in the open

- drinking alcohol

- smoking

- not removing trash

- cooking on the grounds

- not parking in assigned parking lots

Gentlemen,

I have attached the rules that are part of the agreement of getting and keeping a Cricket ground in Edison. I have received complaints about teams not following these rules especially rules 5 thru 8. We have been very lenient and patience with all that have not been following these rules. That’s going to change, if I received anymore complaint about driving on the fields , changing clothes out in the open, drinking alcohol,  smoking, not removing trash, cooking on the grounds, not parking in assigned parking lots, the offending teams will have their permit either suspended or voided. If I find anymore leagues giving our grounds to teams without a permit the league may be banned from playing in Edison. The teams that have a permit and are letting others without permits use the ground will be suspended or banned.

 

I only ask that you follow and respect the rules we have all agreed to follow. I should not be fielding complaints every Monday when I get to work. I will no longer tolerate this behavior.
