Sorry for the delay, I didn't see this email until this morning.
I can think of a few things (and I'm sure Joe can thinik of more) that would be awesome help. While Joe and I chat, can you fill us in about getting up and compiling? To get people contributing quickly and smoothly means we need some decent docs. We all know too much about this think to be useful in a sane doc review. Are our 'getting started' docs any good?
Are you looking to tinker with more mathic stuff? Or more of data structures and just general c/c++ hacking?
I've been daydreaming about being able to pass in a single-layer SVG file, and having it make a stencil out of that SVG. It should be pretty easy, and would be an awesome hack, if you want to try to implement that ...
