Just as a hobby, am trying to create such for ci20. I wonder if there is any interest to use it? will anybody use uefi firmware for their ci20 when (and if, of course,) it is ready? Asking because I've found out MIPS things have gone from the Imagination site. with CI20 includingly. Has it turned into an unsupported thing? Or oppositely, it will get a fresh breath from the new owner? next revisions? maybe successors? at least, will it be selling? I'd exaggerate a "little" if said that Imagination had loads of enthusiasm about it lately, but what about the new owner? Will there be tryings to compete with ARM SBCs yet?

The CI20 seemed to be more of a promotional vehicle for PowerVR at the mobile level than for MIPS, so one might think that Imagination might still support it in some way, despite the MIPS branding. Meanwhile, the CI40 was clearly aimed at the Internet of Things which doesn't have much to do with PowerVR, instead emphasising other technologies that may well be in the hands of the separate MIPS organisation now that it has been sold off.

The MIPS site (https://www.mips.com/) only really has mentions of "Creator" in the blog posts from before the sale of MIPS, so that doesn't really tell us very much. They still have forums related to Creator and other things, though:

https://www.mips.com/forums/cat/creator-platforms/

I imagine that a lot depends on where the people responsible for the Creator initiative are working now and whether that organisation has any interest in continuing with it. The software developers haven't been very active on this list for a long time, as far as I can see.

Thank you for the relpy, Paul. Yes, there is no much activity here, unfortunately. As of the forum, it is closed for new topics the same as it was when being on Imgtec sites. Well, maybe they will open it, it's probably too early to make conclusions.
But judging by the activity here, my Uefi, if it succeeded, hardly would have more than few of users. :^D
