Hello

My CI20 is rather unstable and crashes all the time. Lead by other posts I'd like to RMA the unit and I'm opening a forum thread as proof.

I've baked the following image to an SD card and used it as boot source:

$ md5sum buildroot_boot_sd_2015_03_03.img
76698a27e2ade46788e6dbcb617f9034  buildroot_boot_sd_2015_03_03.img

On first run the board crashed instantly with visible corruption of various parts (mostly bottom) of the connected screen. On reboot I tried smaller values (I started with 800) just to see how it behaves. With the value "1" (assuming that's one meg) I got many loops executed without issues. On memtester 100 I got:

FAILURE 0x00000000 != 0xffffffff at offset 0x0138c7fc

I wanted to see if the board remains table so I binary-searched for the value that would corrupt it. Playing around quickly made it obvious that values beyond ~500 hard freeze the board.

Best regards
ZK
