Hey WTP fam!   Our organizing team is growing and we’d love to see some of your names come through in our search for a Southwest Michigan organizer.   Organizing is the backbone of our movement. All of our work to build a more prosperous, equal, and joyful Michigan rests on building power in our communities.   The full description with responsibilities and background requirements is on our website, but here’s a short breakdown: Apply here! Position Location: Employee must be based in Southwest Michigan, with a strong preference for Benton Harbor/Berrien County.   About the position: We are looking for a full-time organizer that will develop a base of community members and leaders in the Benton Harbor area to work on the Yes FRESH START Campaign and We The People’s statewide goals. The organizer will work to build a leadership team with local leaders and drive campaigns that center residents of Benton Harbor. The SW Michigan Organizer will report to the SW Michigan Lead Organizer. Compensation: This is a full-time permanent position with a salary of about $52,850, annually. Salaries are adjusted based on federal COLA at the end of each year, not to exceed 2.5%.
