Dear MDCR Community Partners: The Michigan Department of Civil Rights has posted the below positions: Graphic Arts Designer 9-E11 This position serves as the brand coordinator and graphic designer for the department and is housed within the Communications Division. This position designs and executes communications materials for MDCR and MCRC, with an emphasis on creating accessible design. Administrative Law Specialist This position functions as a staff attorney providing legal guidance and leadership to Civil Rights team(s) engaged in complaint investigation, Education and Outreach and Partnership initiatives. Communications Division Intern In partnership with the Communications Manager, this position will research, write, and edit newsletters and articles. They will also help with social media content development, posting, and analytics. This is a virtual internship. Communications Division, Graphic Design Intern In partnership with the Communications Manager, this position will design and layout social media infographics and images. They will also develop flyers and other visuals as requested by the department. This is a virtual internship. Division of Deaf, DeafBlind, Hard of Hearing Intern We are now accepting summer internship applications for the Division on Deaf, DeafBlind, Hard of Hearing for students with intermediate to advanced American Sign Language (ASL) skills who are eager to grow their fluency through immersive, community-based experiences. Responsibilities include performing research, assisting with development of materials, and miscellaneous administrative functions as assigned. This is a virtual internship.
