The Michigan Democratic Party is seeking a highly skilled Deputy Data and Analytics Director to join our team for the 2026 Coordinated Campaign. Michigan will be one of the most closely-watched states during the 2026 Midterm election cycle, and the Data Department will play a critical role in ensuring our program is able to effectively and efficiently reach voters across the state to elect a US Senator, win the Governor’s mansion, and elect Democrats up and down the ticket.
The Deputy Data and Analytics Director will assist in creating and maintaining the overall data infrastructure for the Coordinated Campaign and will closely support other campaign departments and stakeholders. At their core, the Deputy Data and Analytics Director is an analyst and a team player. This role is meant for individuals who like to dig into data to find patterns, and for those who excel at plugging in with other departments to offer innovative solutions to complex problems. Ideal candidates will have a combination of technical aptitude, soft skills, and enthusiasm for electing Democrats who put Michigan issues first. This position reports to the Data and Analytics Director.
Duties and ResponsibilitiesThe pay range is $6,500 per month. Applicants must live in or be willing to relocate to Detroit. This position includes a full benefits package of health, vision, and dental insurance coverage.
