We have an exciting opportunity for an exceptional and passionate leader like you to become our Executive Director at MI Poder, a new and dynamic 501(c)4 organization dedicated to empowering and elevating Latinx voices in Michigan.
As our Executive Director, you would play a pivotal role in driving our vision of creating a united and empowered Latinx community that breaks barriers. Your commitment and unwavering passion would be the driving force behind the transformative change we are collectively driving, together.
About Us:
MI Poder is not just an organization; we are a close-knit group of community leaders from across the state, united by a shared purpose and a vision for improved outcomes and democratic processes. Our 501(c)4 status enables us to make a tangible impact through advocacy, community mobilization, and civic engagement. We are dedicated to fostering an inclusive environment where Latinx voices are heard and valued.
What We’re Looking For:
As our Executive Director, you would lead a growing team of talented individuals who are deeply committed to empowering the Latinx community. Your strategic vision, combined with your exceptional leadership skills, would guide our efforts to important success.
Some Key Responsibilities:
Provide executive direction and oversight of all operational and administrative functions to meet fiscal and strategic goals.
Collaborate with the board to set goals and develop a business plan for achieving objectives.
Secure financial support from funders to meet aggressive annual fundraising goals, in partnership with the board.
Increase visibility and credibility by representing the organization at external events.
Develop strategic partnerships to increase community engagement, awareness, and program expansion.
Lead and manage a diverse team and engage with the community we serve.
Design and implement policies to ensure compliance, build an inclusive culture, and advance MI Poder’s vision.
