Hi InSAR experts,
I am investigating the interannual variability of surface displacement rates in high-altitude regions. For this analysis, I process Sentinel-1 data separately for each year and then compare the interannual patterns.
However, I’ve noticed that one particular year (2022 in the attached figure) shows anomalous deformation, which I suspect is due to an unwrapping error??—possibly related to seasonal snow cover, even though I restricted the processing to the summer months . I’ve also attached a non-zero ambiguity plot for reference.
Unfortunately, I am using the ASF HyP3 Gamma product, which does not provide the connected component layer needed to directly correct unwrapping errors. My inversion is based on a variance-weighted approach, but I am now looking for recommendations on improving the inversion or workflow to reduce the impact of unwrapping artifacts on the interannual variability signal.
Any suggestions or insights would be greatly appreciated!

Best,
