Hi Yunjun,
sorry for disturbing you.
I reprocessed a S-1 stack to check if I'm able to download the *.grib files for the atmospheric correction.
B.t.w. I didn't reach this step as I was not able to generate the "geometry*.h5" file in the "inputs" dir (see the attached screenshot).
The problem seems to be related to the "prep_isce.py" command which failed (other screenshot).
Before mintpy processing I've regularly used "prep_isce.py" (prep_isce.py -d ./merged/interferograms -m ./reference/IW1.xml -b ./baselines -g ./merged/geom_reference) and I got all the "filt_fine.unw.rsc" metadata files for each ifg.
I'm using the last mintpy version (MintPy release version v1.2.3-73, release date 2020-11-16) on Mac OS X Catalina.
Thanks for your support.
Cheers,
Sven.

Hi again,
I thought I found the problem, as I used an old template for processing, with the row "mintpy.load.metaFile = ../master/IW*.xml", instead of the right one  "mintpy.load.metaFile = ../reference/IW*.xml".
B.t.w. I reprocessed the stack and the error still remains (FileNotFoundError: [Errno 2] No such file or directory: './inputs/geometry*.h5') with no geometry*.h5 file in the inputs dir.
I'm quite confused now ;)
Cheers,
Sven.

Hi Yunjun,
I managed in some way the error releted to the "prep_isce.py" command and verified again the template in the "mintpy" folder.
I reprocessed again the stack but the error consisting in no geometry*.h5 file generation in the inputs dir still remains.
Any suggestion would be appreciated.
Sven.

Hi Sven,

Could you run prep_isce.py alone in the command line to show more details regarding why it failed?

My first guess is that: ISCE is required to run prep_isce.py for the 1st time, and it is not available (either not installed, or installed but not in the same environment as mintpy).

Hi Yunjun,
as I've already told you in a previous post, at the end I fixed the "prep_isce.py" problem.

In this regard, I have 2 conda environments, namely "isce2" (with the last isce version) and "mintpy" (last mintpy version).
I run "prep_isce.py" in the "isce2" environment and got all the metadata files needed.

The problem arise when I run "smallbaselineApp.py *.txt" in the "mintpy" folder, as I'm not able to obtain the "/inputs/geometry*.h5" file.

From the terminal:
raise FileNotFoundError(errno.ENOENT, os.strerror(errno.ENOENT), './inputs/geometry*.h5')

FileNotFoundError: [Errno 2] No such file or directory: './inputs/geometry*.h5'

Moreover, in the "inputs" dir I noticed a quite large "ifgramStack.h5" file (about 4 GB): is this reasonable?

Cheers,
Sven.

Hi Sven,

Thanks for the explanation, I believe your prep_isce.py step is fine.

The printout message simply shows no file found on the path for geometry datasets (mintpy.load.demFile, etc.). I would recommend to double check that.

Hi , Yunjun,
I have met a  problem similar to Seven , I  successfully prepared the file with prep_gamma.py and imported the data with load_data.py. when I run smallbaselineApp.py,  it run error  with the file geometry*.h5 is not found, but the file  geometry*.h5  exists in the inputs folder of my current directory, can you help me solve it? Can you help me solve this problem?

Hi Wei,

The DEM should be in the same coordinates as the interferograms. I see you are loading the geocoded DEM, are your interferogram files "diff_*.unw" geocoded too?

Note that in the example dataset here: https://mintpy.readthedocs.io/en/latest/dir_structure/#gamma, we used the *.rdc.dem file.

Hello everybody. I had the same problem (image 1) and I corrected the dem path in the .txt template (image 2) and then the code ran successfully in this part. I don't know if this problem is the same of you.

Best regards

Hello, teacher Zhang,
l am confused with load_data with gamma. l can read the diff, unw, and cor with prep_gamma.py. However, using smallbaselineApp.py to load_data, l am told that the data cannot be found and read to.H5 format.
Could you give me some suggestions? Thank you so much!
