How should MintPy algorithm be classified? SBAS or DS?

I'm reading some papers about time-series InSAR techniques. However, I was confused by tons of similar terms. I'm thinking that if I use MintPy to conduct my study, how should I suitably classify my work into SBAS, DS, or something like that?

The MintPy package is an implementation of SBAS, as you can see from the name of the application that runs the full workflow `smallbaselineApp.py`. MintPy works on InSAR data that is normally multi-looked before it is read into MintPy, so the SBAS analysis is done on multi-looked pixels. Other time-series analysis packages work on the full-resolution InSAR data and extract persistent point scatterers (PS) that are a single full-resolution pixel and distributed scatterers (DS) that are a group of pixels that have similar behavior. The DS are similar to the multi-looked pixels used in SBAS because they are an average of nearby full-resolution pixels, but some implementations allow DS to have shapes that are no rectangular.

Dear Mr.Eric Fielding, Have a nice day. I am trying to use some gamma processed data in MintPY however while load_data step i am getting an error.  I am attaching two jpgs for further reference. your valueable insights can help me a lot. best regards
