Hello Everyone,
I'd need some explanations about velocityERA5.tif, velocity.tif and the timeseriesERA5.
Why is the extent covered by "velocityERA5" and each timeseries pair different?  Also,  "velocityERA5" and "velocity" files they are totally different, how should I interpret them?  

Sorry for the very basic question and thank you a lot

Hi,

1. timeseriesERA5 is ERA5 corrected time series; it is a time series of cumulative displacements (in meters), for each date you have the SAR acquisition. velocityERA5 is the atmospheric contribution to the velocity, it shows how much delays you have because of the atmosphere. velocity is your linear regression slope of ERA5 corrected time series. You can also run timeseries2velocity.py script of mintpy to get the final velocity (and few more things) just to be sure you are getting the actual velocity. I recommend reading data structure at https://mintpy.readthedocs.io/en/latest/api/data_structure/ to understand all inputs/outputs of mintpy.

2. Extent - all extents should be the same. Make sure you are looking at either geocoded outputs or radar-coordinate outputs - mixing them will result in different extents. Geocoding the *.h5 files using geocode.py will help bring everything to the same extent.

Hi,

I am a bit confused about the multiple files;

timeseries.h5 = time series file after the application of all corrections? 
velocity.h5 = the final velocity after application of all files?

timeseries_ERA5.h5= timeseries along with the contribution of the tropospheric delays
velcity_ERA5-.h5=  the final velocity along with the  contribution of the tropospheric delays

timeseries_ERA5_ramp_demErr.h5=timeseries along with the contribution of the tropospheric delays, ramp, and DEM error

Can you please confirm the file name annotations. Many thanks.
