GNU / Public Domain Tamil Fonts

Hi All,

Are there any Tamil Fonts available under Public Domain or GNU GPL ?

If some one could provide a list of all the Indic fonts available
under the above Licenses, that would be Cool :)

Yes. For example, see lohit-fonts: https://fedorahosted.org/lohit/ It is licensed under GPLv2 and officially supports Telugu, Tamil, Sindhi, Punjabi, Oriya, Nepali, Marathi, Malayalam, Maithili, Konkani, Kashmiri, Kannada, Hindi, Gujarati, Bengali, and Assamese.

That's a bit hard to do. I suggest you ask one of the several open source font communities around the net. Roozbeh
