ஆஸ்திரேலிய பழங்குடிகளில்  அணங்கு  என்ற பிரிவினர் இருப்பதை அறிந்து மிகவும் வியப்பு அடைந்தேன் .

அணங்கு  என்ற தமிழ்ப் பெயர் இருப்பதால் மட்டும் அல்ல .

இவர்களின் தோற்றம் கூட தமிழர்களைத் தான் நினைவு படுத்துகின்றது .

மேலும் பல தேடல் வாயிலாக பல தகவல்கள் கிடைத்த வண்ணம் உள்ளது .

நேற்று யூடியூபில்  ஒரு விழியம் இவர்களின் மொழி குறித்து பார்த்தேன் உன்மையில் வியப்பு தான் அவர்கள் பேசுவது எதோ தமிழில் பேசுவது  போன்று இருந்தது . ஆனால் புரியவில்லை .

மேலும் மற்றுமொரு விழியத்தில் உடற் பாகங்களை விளக்கி இருந்தனர் . அதில் முட்டி என்பது தமிழாக இருந்தது .

இதனை தென்புலத்தார் வாட்சப்  குழுவில்   அனுப்பினேன் .

அடுத்த சில நிமிடங்களில் ஒரிசா பாலு ஐயா தொடர்பு கொண்டு பேசினார் . மேலும் அணங்கு பழங்குடி  குறித்து பல ஆய்வுகள் செய்து கொண்டு இருப்பதாகக் கூறினார்    மிகவும் மகிழ்ச்சியாக இருந்தது .

அந்த மொழியின் பெயர் அணங்கு போல் தெரியவில்லை. அணங்கு என்பது இங்கு வேறொன்றைக் குறிப்பதாகலாம். அம்மொழியின் பெயர் pitjantjatjar . டச்சு மொழியில் j என்பதை ஜ என ஒலிக்கமாட்டார்  அதை யகரமென்றே ஒலிப்பார். அதேபொழுது ஜகர ஓசை இந்தொனீசிய மொழியில் உண்டு. எனவே  tj  என்று எழுத்துப்பெயர்ப்பு செய்து ஜ என டச்சு மொழியியலார் சில இந்தோனீசியச் சொற்களை ஒலிப்பார். இதே ஒலிபெயர்ப்பை  ஆத்திரேலிய மொழிகளைக் கையாளுவதிலுங் கொண்டார் போலும். இந்த வழக்கம் தெரிந்தால், pitjantjatjar  என்பதை பிஜ்ஜஞ்ஜார் என்றெழுதலாம். இதைத் தமிழோசைக்கு இயைபுறுத்துகையில் பிச்சஞ்சார்  என்றாகும். அவர்கள் ஒலிப்பதை விழியத்தில் கேட்டாலும் ச என நாம் எழுதுவது  தவறு என்று தோன்றவில்லை. விழியம் ஓட ஓட அதில் வரும் சொற்களை  நான் ஒருதாளில் எழுதினேன். (இதில் சில தவறுகள் இருக்கலாம். மீண்டும் கேட்போர் இதைத் திருத்துங்கள்.)  கீழே எனக்குத் தோன்றிய தமிழ்ச்சொற்களை பிறைக்குறிக்குள் குறித்துள்ளேன். அந்த மொழியின் பேச்சொலித் திரிவுகள் எனக்குத் தெரியவில்லை. 4000/5000 ஆண்டுகளில் எது எப்படி மாறியது என்றும் தெரியாது.

இன்னொரு விழியத்தில் வினைச்சொற்களைப் பார்த்தேன். அதில் சில ஆங்கிலச்சொற்களோடு இரினி என்ற சொல் சேர்ப்பதைப் பார்த்தேன். (ஒருவேளை தம் பழஞ்சொற்களை மறந்துவிட்டார் போலும். எனவே ஆங்கிலச்சொல்லான to jump என்பதை ஜம்பிரினி என்று சொல்லியிருந்தார். (ஆங்கிலச்சொற்களோடு நாம் துணைவினை சேர்த்து கூட்டுவினைச்சொல் ஆக்குவதுபோலத் தென்பட்டது.) ஒருவேளை இரினி என்பதற்கு இரு என்று பொருளோ தெரியவில்லை. இதுபோல் இரினிச் சொற்கள் இரண்டு மூன்றைப் பார்த்தேன். அந்த விழியத்தை இன்னொரு முறை பார்க்கவேண்டும். இதுவரை பார்த்த அளவில் இந்த மொழியைத் தமிழோடு தொடர்புறுத்தி ஆய்வதில் தவறில்லை. ஆனால் எந்த முடிவிற்கும் இப்போது வரவேண்டாம். இன்னும் இம்மொழி பற்றிய அறிமுகம் வேண்டும். ஆத்திரேலியாவில் இருக்கும் நண்பர்களே இதைச் செய்யமுடியும். நமக்கு இந்த மொழி பற்றிய நூல்கள் வேண்டும்.

Abstract

It remains a mystery how Pama–Nyungan, the world’s largest hunter-gatherer language family, came to dominate the Australian continent. Some argue that social or technological advantages allowed rapid language replacement from the Gulf Plains region during the mid-Holocene. Others have proposed expansions from refugia linked to climatic changes after the last ice age or, more controversially, during the initial colonization of Australia. Here, we combine basic vocabulary data from 306 Pama–Nyungan languages with Bayesian phylogeographic methods to explicitly model the expansion of the family across Australia and test between these origin scenarios. We find strong and robust support for a Pama–Nyungan origin in the Gulf Plains region during the mid-Holocene, implying rapid replacement of non-Pama–Nyungan languages. Concomitant changes in the archaeological record, together with a lack of strong genetic evidence for Holocene population expansion, suggests that Pama–Nyungan languages were carried as part of an expanding package of cultural innovations that probably facilitated the absorption and assimilation of existing hunter-gatherer groups.

இடத்திற்கேற்ப தன் நிறத்தை மாற்றிக் கொள்ளும் பச்சோந்தியைப் போல தட்ப வெப்ப நிலைக்கேற்ப தன் நிறத்தை மாற்றிக் கொள்ளும் குன்று இது. இதனால் இது பச்சோந்திக் குன்று என்றும் அழைக்கப்படுகிறது. இப்பகுதியில் வாழும் அனங்கு இன பழங்குடிகளுக்கு உலுறு ஒரு புனிதமான இடமாகக் கொள்ளப்படுகிறது. முழுவதும் மணற்பாறைகள் மற்றும் சிறு சிறு கற்களால் உருவான பாறைகளால் ஆனது இக்குன்று. முட்டை வடிவம் கொண்ட இப்பாறையின் அடிவாரத்தில் உள்ள குகைகளில் மிகப் பழமையான பழைய ஓவியங்களும்செதுக்கப்பட்ட சில உருவங்களும் உள்ளன.

ஏயர்சு குன்று உலகிலேயே தனிக் குன்றாக இருக்கும் மிகப் பெரிய பாறைகளில் இரண்டாவது இடத்தில் உள்ளது. இது 338 மீட்டர் உயரமும் அடிப்பாகத்தில் 10 கி.மீ அகலமும் கொண்டது.

The word Uluru is from the Pitjantjatjara language and according to Neville Jones (Director of the Office of Aboriginal Development in 1993) who speaks the language, is believed to have no English equivalent - not uncommon with Aboriginal place names.

 

It is also believed that the name Uluru itself is more directly associated with the water hole above Mutitjulu (Maggie Springs) than with the Rock as a whole.

 

According to Pitjantjatjara tradition, the monolith was created by two boys out of mud - Wiyai Kutjara Tjukurpa (Two Boys dreaming). Other features associated with it are the transmogrification of events associated with a fight between the Kuniya (carpet snakes) and Liru (poisonous snakes), the attack on the Mala (Hare Wallaby men) by Kurrpanngu (a spirit dog created by the Kikankura (Docker River) men) and other incidents associated with many other ancestor beings.

The park has a very rich reptile fauna of high conservation significance, with 73 species having been reliably recorded. Four species of frogs are abundant at the base of Uluru and Kata Tjuta following summer rains. The great desert skink is listed as vulnerable.

 

Aṉangu continue to hunt and gather animal species in remote areas of the park and on Aṉangu land elsewhere. Hunting is largely confined to the red kangaroo, bush turkey, emu, and lizards such as the sand goanna and perentie.

 

தமிழில் வவ்வால் என்பது bat ஐக் குறிக்கும். வவ்வுதல் கவ்வுதல், அவ்வுதலென்றுஞ் சொல்லப்பெறும். கிடைத்த இடத்தை வவ்விக் (அவ்விக்) கொண்டு தொங்கும் பறவை வவ்வால். அந்த் வவ்வால் நிறைந்த இடம் வவ்வலூர்>வவ்வுலூர், அவ்வுலூர் ஆகலாம். உலூரு என்பது பொருந்திவருகிறது.
